What you need to know

 

Here, you will find information about our studio etiquette, first class offers, cancellation policy, suspension policy and weather arrangements.

STUDIO ETIQUETTE

  • Please remove your shoes before entering the studio and place them in the shoe racks by the studio entrance.

  • Please turn off you mobile phone or switch to silent mode inside the studio.

  • Please check-in at reception before each class and collect a locker key if required. Prior to leaving the studio after class please return the locker key to reception. Please do not leave belongings overnight in the lockers provided.

  • Please respect other students practicing at the studio and lower your voice when conversing.

  • Please remove rings and other jewelry that may snag the equipment prior to attending AntiGravity aerial and Wall Rope yoga classes.

  • After each class, please wipe your yoga mat and surrounding mat space with the cleaning towels provided. Fold yoga blankets, yoga chairs and yoga straps neatly, ensure yoga blocks are clean and dry. Return all props to the storage cupboards provided.

  • To minimise water usage and the impact on the environment, please only use one small towel and / or one large towel per student.

  • Please do not bring food or drink from external sources inside The Practice Studio common space and yoga rooms.

  • Please do not bring your mobile phone inside the yoga rooms.

FIRST CLASS OFFER

Your first class with us? Here is all the general information you need to know!

  • First class offer for HK residents are priced at HKD 150. Please note that this offer is valid for HK residents only.

  • If you are pregnant, please let staff know. Classes are generally available to prenatal students after 12 weeks into pregnancy (rule of thumb) and this is for the safety of both you and your baby! Please let The Practice teachers know if you are pregnant so teachers are aware.

  • If it is your first AntiGravity class, we recommend wearing something with sleeves (ie. a tee) for the best experience. Please also take off all jewellery - any damage to the hammocks will be borne by the person using the hammock.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Please note that our cancellation policy is 4 hours in advance. If you cancel within 4 hours prior to the class start time, it will be counted as a "late cancellation". If you do not show up to class, it will be counted as "no-show". Please note that this is for the benefit for other students so they can sign up, and our teachers can also better plan for the class. We hope you understand.

For any no-shows / late cancellations, please note the below:

  • 10 class package: We will deduct 1 class if you late cancel / no-show

  • Unlimited package: If there are 3 late cancellations / no-shows, we will terminate your unlimited package 7 days prior to the date it was originally supposed to end at

  • Complimentary Trials / Free Classes: We will deduct it as your complimentary trial / free class

SUSPENSION POLICY

  • For Class Package students, you may suspend once per package valid period. For Monthly Package students, every three months you may suspend once. (I.e. 3-month-unlimited  package allows maximum of one (1) suspensions; 6-month-unlimited package allows maximum of two (2) suspensions, 12-month-unlimited package allows maximum of three (3) suspensions) (Note that 1-week or 1-month unlimited packages do not allow any types of suspensions.

  • All non-pregnancy or non-medical suspensions will be charged HK$200 per suspension and re-activation of Class/Monthly Packages.

  • If you apply for a pregnancy suspension, you are required to provide a valid medical certificate that contains the date, your name, diagnosis, and the doctor's advice. The Practice Studio reserves every right to reject your suspension if such certificate is invalid and to charge you HK$200 per suspension.

  • You must give The Practice at least five (5) days' notice to process the suspension request and  for your suspension to be effective. 

  • The Practice Studio reserves every right to reject any suspension request at its discretion.

  • The Practice Studio reserves every right to change the Terms & Conditions from time to time without prior notice.

WEATHER ARRANGEMENTS

In severe weather conditions, please follow the below guidelines:

If the weather is T8 or above / Black Rain:

During Non-opening hours (overnight):

  • The studio will remain closed and will re-open 2 hours after the warning signal is lowered

  • If the warning signal is lowered on or after 6PM, the studio will remain closed for the day

During Opening hours:

  • The studio will close 30 minutes after the warning signal is hoisted

  • The studio will re-open 2 hours after the warning signal is lowered

  • If the warning signal is lowered on or after 6PM, the studio will remain closed for the day

Notes:

*Please note that warning signal constitutes as all typhoon signals of T8 or above and also the Black Rain signal

*For all cancelled classes due to weather conditions, please note that your class will not be deducted from your class package
